On Saturday, January 17th, 2026, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M., K.C. will lead an intimate Vocal Intensive Workshop right here in Asheville, North Carolina. Designed for motivated learners — from emerging artists to seasoned vocalists — this two-hour experience offers a deep dive into voice, body, and presence. With limited spots available, it promises to be one of the most inspiring artistic gatherings of the season.

🎶 About the Workshop

K.C.’s VoicePortal Intensive is more than just a singing class — it’s a full-bodied exploration of self-expression. Participants will learn techniques to connect posture, breath, and vocal resonance while also exploring improvisation, pitch control, and vocal wellness.
Each session includes:

• Warm-Up: Stretching, posture, and breathing exercises
• Technique: Foundational vocal work focusing on support, resonance, and pronunciation
• Performance Challenge: Improvisation and pitch control exercises
• Takeaways: Actionable practices to continue growing beyond the workshop

🌍 Who is K.C. Raniero?

K.C. Raniero is a classically trained vocalist, pianist, composer, and producer whose career spans stages and studios around the world. From New York City’s Apollo Theater to London’s Sinfonia Smith Square, her performances are rooted in authenticity, emotion, and technical mastery. She has developed curricula for Voice Academy NYC and mentored artists from Berklee College of Music, Juilliard, and even television’s The Voice and American Idol.

Her philosophy blends artistry with wellness — helping singers find not just their best sound, but their truest selves. Through VoicePortal, she’s redefining what it means to perform with confidence and purpose.

🏔️ Asheville: The Perfect Place for Creativity and Connection

K.C. first discovered Asheville while on a solo cross-country road trip promoting Atlantis, a not-for-profit initiative she co-founded to promote equity, sustainability, and creativity through music, art, and skateboarding. She recalls how Asheville struck her as “a sort of portal” — a place where artistry, community, and nature meet in harmony.

“While the trip in its entirety was transformative,” she said, “Asheville especially felt to me like a sort of portal. As a musician, skater, and world builder, I feel at home in places that value creativity, community, sustainability, balance, and purpose. In my experience, Asheville is just that.”

Her return to Asheville — less than a year after the devastation of Hurricane Helene — comes with intention. “While I may never fully know what it’s like to experience such sudden disruption to stability and safety, I deeply admire the resilience and determination this community has shown. Through VoicePortal, I hope to take part in the local ecosystem in a way that honors the city’s rhythm and culture, strengthens community, and supports artistic growth.”
