Asheville now features a New Orleans Coffeehouse called Bebette’s and they have Beignets on their menu! Their original location was on Tunnel Road near the Asheville Mall, but they have since moved to the downtown area in the Grove Arcade. If you are looking for a tasty and sweet dessert experience in Asheville, this is the place to go. I would even eat them for breakfast, like every day!

You can also access Bebette’s from inside the Grove Arcade, which features so many great shops and eateries in this historic building. So whether you are hungry, in the mood to go shopping, or both; this is your one stop shop.
You walk up to the counter, order your drinks and eats, and then you can either sit inside their little cafe, or outside on the many tables that they have set up. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well, offering many suggestions!
If you have never tried a Beignet, it is a deep-fried pastry that is delicious all by itself, but it also comes with powered sugar (YUM!), and many other toppings. We chose a plate with three different toppings and we did not regret it one bit.
While sitting outside and eating this deliciousness, we noticed that Gray Line Trolley Tours also makes a stop at the Grove Arcade, right in front of Bebette’s! This is a win-win for anyone visiting the Asheville area. Get on a tour trolley, head downtown, and get off at this incredibly delicious coffeehouse.
