This has always been one of our go-to stops, whether heading into Hot Springs for a day trip or crossing over into Tennessee. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and immediately feel at home. The walls are painted with art, the back dining room is cozy, and the hum of laughter and conversation makes you want to stay a while.
We grabbed a table, ordered up, and couldn’t help but pause to soak in the vibe. Folks knew each other, strangers became friends, and the staff greeted everyone like family. That’s the magic of this place.

Baby Boss went big with two kids’ breakfasts: eggs & grits, plus a pancake and sausage.
I tackled the country fried steak with hashbrowns, two eggs over medium, and a biscuit smothered in gravy. Pure breakfast perfection — with enough left over to take home (because leaving it behind wasn’t an option).
And let me just say, the staff? Some of the best in Western NC. Friendly, attentive, and full of heart. We even snagged a photo of them — proof that good service is just as filling as the food itself.
