Asheville, today is it — the last day of the Foodees Food & Culture Festival at Tanger Outlets (formerly Asheville Outlets, and before that Biltmore Square Mall). And let us tell you: this festival has been pure magic.
We had the chance to meet Brian from Smokers Delight BBQ, one of the many food trucks serving up amazing eats at this grand event in the mountains. The smoky aroma, the tender meats, the friendly smile — Brian is just one example of what this festival is all about: community, food, and joy.
✨ Why Foodees Matters
This weekend, Asheville got to taste flavors from all over the country — and even the world. With 40+ food trucks and 60+ artisans, the event has been more than just food. It’s been about bringing folks together. Families, friends, travelers, and locals — everyone’s been smiling, laughing, and most importantly, eating.
We’ve been hearing it all over town: Asheville needs more diverse food options. Well, here you go. Foodees answered the call and delivered — and we’re so thankful they chose Asheville as one of their festival stops.
📅 Don’t Miss Out
If you haven’t made it out yet — today is the day. Admission is FREE, and the festival runs until 7 PM tonight (Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025).
📍 Tanger Outlets Asheville, 800 Brevard Rd
Come hungry, bring your people, and don’t leave without trying something new. Trust us — you’ll leave full and happy.
💛 A Word of Thanks
We’re grateful to Foodees for bringing this life, love, and good ole fun to Asheville. Nearly a year after the storm, our community needed this. And y’all delivered.
So Asheville, go taste and see. Today’s the last call.
Thanks to Smokers Delight BBQ for the interview!
