We are so excited to have a First Watch restaurant in the Asheville area! They recently opened in Biltmore Village, in the spot where Pour Taproom used to be. Our team and friends have been to one in Charleston and in Florida, but having one in Western North Carolina is such a bonus!
First Watch – Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch Opens in Asheville North Carolina
When we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful staff member named Amber, and she took care of us the whole time. We interacted with several other members of the staff and they were great as well! There were plenty of places to sit… tables, booths, and even this cute little bar area where you can hang alone or bring the whole crew.
Love, love, love their menu! There are so many great options to choose from, and several things that you do not normally see on menus around town. Let’s just say that it took us awhile to pick what we wanted to eat because we wanted EVERYTHING!!!
We almost went with the lemon ricotta pancakes because we heard many others raving about them, but we will get that next time. She chose the Frittata and it was so delicious!
I was at a crossroad when it came to ordering, so Amber made a few suggestions, and since our bond of trust was already established, I went with one of her recommendations, the Chickichanga. This dish was amazing. I took my time with it, enjoying every little bite, and it even came with a little fruit cup for dessert. You can see the description of this dish in the menu photo above.

On a scale of 1-5 stars, this place is a 5. And on a scale of 1-10, it’s a 10. Can’t wait to go back again! Thank you First Watch, Amber, and the rest of the team!
