Bounty & Soul’s Feed It Forward: Nourishing WNC, One Family at a Time 🌱

In Western North Carolina, food is more than nourishment — it’s connection, dignity, and health. And since 2014, Bounty & Soul has been living that mission, transforming lives through fresh produce, education, and whole-person wellness.

Founded by a community member who once faced food insecurity themselves, Bounty & Soul has grown into a lifeline for thousands of families. With programs like Produce to the People, the Farmer’s Alliance, and Rooted in Health, they’ve shown that fresh food and education build stronger, healthier communities.

🌊 Rising After Hurricane Helene

When Hurricane Helene devastated Western NC, Bounty & Soul was on the frontlines.

• Within days, they were working with restaurants to prepare meals for storm survivors.

• For several weeks straight, they delivered 2,000 meals per day to 19 of the hardest-hit communities.

• Once power returned in Black Mountain, they rebuilt their markets, expanding to 10 markets serving 26,000 individuals per month — and nearly a year later, they’re still sustaining this pace.

Now, Bounty & Soul is calling on the community to keep the momentum alive.
