Okay… can we all agree on one thing?
We finally got a BREAK from the cold weather.
Yeah yeah… I know some of y’all love the cold.
You thrive in it.
You wear shorts in 38 degrees and call it “refreshing.”
Couldn’t be me.
Personally, I enjoy waking up without feeling like I need three blankets, heated socks, and emotional support coffee just to walk outside. You’re welcome.
And now?
The weather across Western North Carolina is finally starting to shift.
The mountains are warming up.
The flowers are showing off.
Patios are filling back up.
And people are getting OUTSIDE again.
Now yes… we’ve definitely been needing some rain too, and thankfully it’s finally rolling in. But honestly? A little rain isn’t stopping anybody around here.
Rain dripping down our sleeves?
Hair frizzing up instantly?
Shoes soaked before lunch?
We’re still going.
Because once warm weather hits WNC, the energy changes.
People start road-tripping again.
Downtowns come alive.
Breweries get busy.
Music starts playing outside.
And suddenly everybody wants tacos.
Which brings us to one of our favorite stops whenever we’re spending time in Hendersonville…
White Duck Taco Shop 🌮
This spot has become one of those places we have to stop by when we’re in town.
Great tacos.
Fun atmosphere.
Creative flavors.
Good vibes every single time.
And honestly, it just feels like warm weather.
There’s something about grabbing tacos after exploring downtown Hendersonville, walking around while the air finally feels soft again, and realizing winter may actually be behind us.
That’s a good feeling.
Whether you’re visiting Hendersonville for the weekend, road-tripping through WNC, or just looking for a fun lunch stop after hiking, shopping, or brewery hopping — this place always hits.
And let’s be real…
Tacos just taste better when it’s warm outside.
