12 Bones Smokehouse & Brewhouse – South Asheville / Arden

We recently had the best time at 12 Bones Smokehouse & Brewing in South Asheville / Arden — surrounded by friends, craft brews, and BBQ that was nothing short of amazing. From tender pulled chicken to ribs dripping in sauce, every bite was delicious, and the beer paired perfectly with it all. 🍺🔥

It brought back some serious memories for me. Years ago, I actually helped remodel the very first 12 Bones down in the River Arts District — right where the circle is now. Me and my buddy Jimmy Alfieri rocked that place with the renovations, and it turned out great. I can still remember those days, the crowd it drew, and all the times I came back to eat there after. One time, I even went with the Travelocity Gnome — that boy had sauce dripping down his beard, lol.

Later on, 12 Bones relocated down the road at Foundation in the River Arts District, and it became another staple of Asheville dining. Sadly, Helene came through and destroyed that location — along with so many other beloved businesses rooted in that area.

Thankfully, their South Asheville / Arden location is still alive and kickin’. And let me tell you — the food, the vibe, and the experience are all still top notch. If you haven’t been yet, make plans. Stop by, say hi, grab a brew, and enjoy some of the best BBQ Asheville has to offer.

At the end of the day, a good plate of BBQ is a lot like building community — it takes time, care, and the right mix of ingredients. Just like 12 Bones has bounced back and continues serving up smoky perfection, we at G Social Media believe in helping local businesses recover, grow, and thrive — one story, one post, and one connection at a time.

If you’re ready to spice things up and put some extra sauce on your digital presence, we’d love to sit down, share a meal (ribs optional but highly recommended 😉), and talk about how to bring your brand to life online.

Because in business — like in BBQ — it’s all about flavor, friends, and a little bit of smoke and fire to keep things moving forward.
